CafeAlt Conference 2025 is set to shine a light on the fast-emerging space of unlisted equities.
The session is titled ‘Investing in Unlisted Gems” and will be led by Nishad Khanolkar, Director at The Wealth Company and Fund Manager of Bharat Value Fund.
Nishad Khanolkar is a Chartered Accountant and seasoned finance professional with more than 21 years of experience in asset management, private equity and investment banking.
He currently manages three SEBI-registered Category II AIFs with a total corpus of over Rs.5,000 crore.
Previously, he has served as CEO of Hong Kong-based S P Growth Partners and held global directorships across Australia and Hong Kong. He is among the few in the industry to have raised Rs.3,000 crore in a single year.
The session will explore why unlisted companies are increasingly being viewed as hidden gems in a rapidly growing economies like India. It will also include;
- Opportunities in the unlisted space including where the next generation of market leaders may be emerging
- Risk-reward dynamics of investing in unlisted securities
- How much exposure investors should realistically consider
- Trends driving valuations in India’s private markets
Based on the theme ‘Beyond the Mainstream: The Rise of Alternatives in Indian Portfolios’, this will be the second edition of CafeAlt Conference, Cafemutual’s annual event focusing on alternate investments. It will be held on Thursday, August 21 at Taj Santacruz, Mumbai.
